Overall, the Pearl Harbor National Memorial serves as a tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of American service members during the attack.
USS Arizona Memorial
Visitors to the USS Arizona Memorial will be struck by the somber, reverent atmosphere of this historic site. The memorial, located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, floats over the remains of the battleship USS Arizona, which was destroyed in the surprise attack by Japan on December 7, 1941. Once there, visitors can pay their respects at the names of those who died on the USS Arizona and then take time to reflect on the tragedy and the bravery of those who lost their lives. A visit to the USS Arizona Memorial is a moving experience, and a stark reminder of the sacrifice made by those who served their country during World War II.
Downtown Honolulu
